SUCCESS
ONLY STOPS IF YOU DO!
Benjamin
This has been the very first group that I actually have felt welcomed beyond my expectations. The people who do this generally care about everyone, no matter what or where or who you are. It's a healing space that I never imagined existed. There should be more space for them to keep helping people to there best abilities, and they have a lot of ability and drive to keep the ball rolling for everyone. I love these people and what they do.

“I’ve been in and out of systems most of my life. UAPSS was the first place that didn’t treat me like a case file. They helped me build a plan that made sense in the real world — housing, appointments, court, recovery — all of it. They don’t just talk about second chances. They help you build one.”

“I give to UAPSS because I’ve seen what happens when someone falls through the cracks — and I’ve seen what happens when someone doesn’t. UAPSS shows up in those fragile moments after treatment, after jail, after crisis. They don’t just talk about hope; they create structure around it. My donation feels personal because the impact is personal.”

CPSS Professional Development
UAPSS is committed to strengthening Utah’s peer support workforce at every stage of the CPSS journey. We focus on developing real-world skills, ethical practice, and sustainable peer careers—because peer support doesn’t stop at certification.
We proudly partner with Utah’s Office of Substance Use and Mental Health (OSUMH), along with recovery agencies and community partners across the state, to ensure peer support specialists are well-trained, up-to-date, and well-supported. UAPSS offers weekly peer check-in sessions, monthly specialty trainings, and continuing education (CEU) opportunities designed to support growth, connection, and long-term success. And yes—there’s always more coming.
